{I Heart Faces| Fix it Friday}

I have been following I Heart Faces for a while now.  They have great tutorials, tips, and interviews with some great photographers.  Every Friday they offer an image that is straight out of camera (SOOC) and let you edit it any way that you want.  I have never joined in before, but decided to this time.  It is so hard for me because I barely have enough time in my day as it is, and trying to do this today just added one more thing.  So here it is, 9:30 p.m., and I am just posting this. 
Well, anyway, here they are:

This is the SOOC image that they gave us to work with

This is my first (notice I said first..hee hee) edit:

For this one this is what I did:
-Used the clone stamp to get rid of the garden light at the right of the shot
-Used the spot healing brush to touch up under her eyes
-Used CoffeeShop Dodge/Burn Action on some areas of her face and hat
-Ran My4Hens Selective Color Pop to brighten her hat and shirt
-Ran My4Hens Eye Popper
-Ran My4Hens Eye Sharpening
-Ran Paint the Moon's Jubilee action to give it a different, warmer tone
I didn't crop this one at all...I seem to be scared of cropping things, and I thought baby looked so cute sitting in her bumbo seat...but just to challenge myself, I did a second edit :)

And here it is:

For this one I did the following:
-Cropped at 8x10
-Used free transform to tilt
-Ran My4Hens Lilac B&W action...this is currently my fave B&W action!
-Ran Coffeeshop's Dodge/Burn to burn some of the background

All of these edits were done in Photoshop Elements 8.

Got it! | {Wishlist}

Last time I posted...(yes, a very long time ago *blush*), I raved and talked about how much I wanted and needed a new camera bag and featured the Kelly Moore bag.  Well, I went for it!  and I am so glad I did. I was hoping to get the bag before I left for my trip to Mexico, and although a nasty snowstorm delayed the arrival of my bag, it arrived before my departure!  I was so excited and the bag is AWESOME!  It did great on my trip!
Here is a little session I did of the bag as I was taking it out of the box...just had to do it!
