Wanted to blog this adorable girl's session before I go out of town...and before she turns 16 ;)   This was actually her nine month session, and she's already a year!! (that blog post will come later)  
I just love photographing her and so happy that I got to see her at 4 months (you can see that session here!), 9 months and one year!

my boy is three!! {personal} | Memphis TN Photographer

I've been busy getting ready for my little guy's third birthday, which was yesterday!  He's three and not my little baby anymore....and he's definitely quick to remind me!   Yesterday he told me, "mommy, you can't call me baby anymore, but you can say big boy" heart.breaking.now.
Anyways, I decided that on his last day of being two, I would take some photos and video of him just hanging out and doing his thing :)

I would love for you guys to take a look and tell me what you think!  Is this something you would want for your own kiddo?

p.s.  please don't judge me for my unmade, totally messy bed!! I was washing the bedding and the beds were stripped...I couldn't pass up the chance to capture him jumping on the bed!! LOL

Spring Mini Sessions are here!!! | Memphis TN Photographer

So excited to announce the spring mini sessions this year!  I had so much fun with them last year.  The best part was that I got to meet so many new clients!
Spots this year are VERY limited and payment will be due at the time of booking.  It's a little bit different than how I did it last year.  I thought paying at the time of booking would make it so much easier...just show up and have your photos taken, no having to lug a checkbook around!!

The sessions will be held at Oaklawn Gardens in Germantown.  Such a great place, with lots of cool spots and beautiful trees and flowers!

I was so thrilled when these two picked me to photograph their wedding!  They are an awesome couple.
I had a blast at this session, and they took me to some AH-MAZING locations...They were all a photographer's dream!! The weather was perfect, the colors were perfect, the light was to die for!  I didn't want it to end.
Thank you L & K for putting up with all of my ideas and for kissing whenever I told you to kiss...I'm bossy, I know ;)

I adore this baby!!  Shot her mommy's maternity photos, did her newborn photos and then got to do her three month photos!  
I can't believe how long it has taken me to post this...Ms. R is 6 months now, almost 7!! eeek!!

Mr. O {cute kiddos!} | Memphis TN Family Photographer

One of my goals this year is to shoot more lifestyle sessions at clients' homes.  I absolutely love them.  It's such a treat to get to capture families and kiddos in their every day environments. I get to capture them playing, reading, cuddling....it's so much fun!

I was seriously jumping for joy as I was "chimping" (aka looking at the photos on the back of my camera) during the session.  I couldn't wait to get home and go through these and start editing!

Love this family and love this kiddo.  They are so much fun to photograph, and I'm so glad they asked me to do it again and that Melissa was all about a photo session at home!!
